Expert Witness Testimony
It
can become confusing when dealing with issues that incorporate forensic
data and expert witness reports. What is actually meant by the
presented data, and are the interpretations made supported by the
evidence and test data? With knowledge of forensic testing and
procedures from around the world, Defence Forensics are able to
determine such issues and help investigators and legal practitioners
with solving them.
Involvement may be in report
format only, or may involve us acting as defence expert providing
expert witness testimony in the courts of law. With many years court
experience, in various legal systems, we are able to identify
weaknesses and strengths in case data and help determine areas where
correct procedures or suitable processes were not conducted as they
should have been. Defence Forensics can become involved at any stage of
court proceedings, from pre-trial preparation, to aiding legal
practitioners with developing suitable lines of questioning during
expert witness cross-examination.
As
each case is specific, a detailed analysis of the information in a case
will be required to ensure that suitable avenues of defence questioning
is provided. All areas of forensic science detailed in this website can
be dealt with in the courts of law or accountants.
